Kyle O'Quinn scored a career-high 37 points, tied a career-high with 19 rebounds and had six blocks to led Norfolk State over Coppin State 110-108 in double overtime on Monday night.

O'Quinn hit a pair of free throws to snap a 108-108 tie with 4.5 seconds left, and Akeem Ellis missed a 3-pointer for the Eagles to give the Spartans (7-13, 5-3 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) their fifth win in a row.

Chris McEachin, who added 19 points for Norfolk State before fouling out in the first overtime, hit a 3 with 0.2 seconds left in regulation to send it into overtime.

Norfolk State's Aleek Pauline, who had 14 points and 12 assists, scored on a buzzer-beating layup to send it into a second overtime.

Pendarvis Williams added 17 points and Rob Hampton 13 for the Spartans.

The Eagles (10-10, 5-3) were led by Michael Harper with 27 points and Ellis with 20.
