Georgia running back Todd Gurley has sustained an apparent left ankle injury in Saturday's game against No. 6 LSU.

He seemed unlikely to return, watching the second half wearing a windbreaker and a walking boot on his foot.

Gurley was injured on a 23-yard run in the second quarter. He hobbled to the bench, where he was surrounded by trainers, then jogged to the locker room with a noticeable limp to get additional treatment.

The sophomore, who already has two 100-yard games this season, left with eight carries for 73 yards. Keith Marshall took over as the No. 1 back for the ninth-ranked Bulldogs.
