DAYTON, Ohio – Megan Van Tatenhove scored on a spinning jumper in the lane with 23 seconds left to give No. 25 St. Bonaventure a 56-55 win over Dayton on Saturday.
Justine Raterman's 3-point attempt at the final buzzer was short for the Flyers.
Van Tatenhove scored 17 points to help St. Bonaventure (24-2, 11-0 Atlantic 10) get its 13th straight win overall and 12th consecutive on the road.
Raterman finished with 11 points, all in the second half, for Dayton (16-6, 8-2), which snapped a six-game winning streak.
Bonnies leading scorer Jessica Jenkins finished with just three points, coming on a 3-pointer that gave her team its first lead at 35-34 with 14:08 to play.
The Flyers opened the game with a 10-2 run and led by 15 in the first half before the Bonnies pulled to 29-28 at the break.
