Jaime Printy scored 18 points and No. 16 Iowa beat Indiana 71-51 on Sunday.

Kachine Alexander had 14 points, 10 rebounds, seven steals and four assists for the Hawkeyes, who had a strong afternoon defensively, holding the Hoosiers to just 26 percent (14-for-55) shooting from the field.

The Hawkeyes (15-4, 3-3) opened up a quick 16-6 lead with four 3-pointers, including two from Printy, and Indiana (8-10, 2-4) never got closer than nine points the rest of the game.

Alisha Goodwin led Indiana with 14 points, including 11 in the final three minutes. Aulani Sinclair added 12 points off the bench. Jori Davis had 10 points.

The two teams combined to shoot 61 free throws, and Iowa hit 24-of-32. Iowa outrebounded Indiana 51 to 34.
