Jordan Taylor scored 22 points, Ryan Evans had 45 victory Tuesday night.

It was slow going early on as Wisconsin (22-8, 11-6 Big Ten) didn't score any points during an eight-minute drought in the first half and trailed 23-16 at the break.

But the Badgers out-scored Minnesota 36-22 in the second half and clinched at least fourth place in the Big Ten and earned a bye in the first round of the conference tournament.

Andre Hollins scored 18 points and Rodney Williams added 11 but Minnesota (17-13, 5-12) lost its sixth straight game.

The Golden Gophers have lost three in a row to Wisconsin, including a setback on February 9 that kicked off their current skid. They have played ranked teams in five of their last six games.
