Kalisha Keane scored 23 points and Lykendra Johnson had 16 Thursday night, leading No. 12 Michigan State to a 69-55 victory at Indiana.

The Spartans (17-2, 5-1 Big Ten) have won 15 of 16 games.

Jori Davis scored 20 points and Whitney Lindsay had 16 for Indiana (8-11, 2-5) — not nearly enough to prevent a fifth straight loss.

But the Spartans had to think outside the box to win it.

Instead of relying on their usually strong inside game, the Spartans won this one from the perimeter. Keane matched her career-high with four 3s. Michigan State went 10 of 16 beyond the arc.

Keane's first-half flurry helped the Spartans outscore Indiana 17-9 over the final 7 minutes of the first half, giving them a 35-23 halftime lead. Michigan State extended the lead to 41-23 in the second half and withstood an 11-0 Indiana run.
