Miami receiver Phillip Dorsett is expected to miss up to six weeks with a partially torn ligament in his left knee.

Dorsett injured his medial collateral ligament during the 10th-ranked Hurricanes' 27-23 win at North Carolina on Thursday night. Hurricanes coach Al Golden says the team feels fortunate that the injury wasn't worse, as originally feared.

There are six weeks remaining in the regular season for Miami (6-0, 2-0 Atlantic Coast Conference). Dorsett is averaging a team-best 20.9 yards per catch this season for Miami.

Also, Golden said running back Duke Johnson was doing fine. Johnson was forced out of Thursday's game, and team medical personnel are still determining if a hit he took triggered a migraine or a low-level concussion.
