Sevilla striker Alvaro Negredo has extended his stay at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan by a further two years, inking an extension that will keep him at the club until 2016.

The 26-year-old joined Sevilla from Real Madrid in 2009 and he tallied 20 goals for the club in La Liga last season.

Negredo's new deal contains a buyout clause of $65 million, while he has gotten off to a strong start this campaign as well, scoring three goals in six league games.
