San Juan, Argentina – Omar Narvaez won the WBO super flyweight title Saturday night with a 12-round unanimous decision over Jose Cabrera.
Narvaez (36-1-2, 19 KOs), who was coming off a 12-round loss to Nonito Donaire in October, was dominating throughout the bout in his fourth title defense. The fight against Donaire at Madison Square Garden was for the WBC and WBO bantamweight belts.
Cabrera (20-3-2, 8 KOs) was in his first title bout.
