Fontvieille, Monaco (SportsNetwork.com) - Joao Moutinho scored 15 minutes from time at the Stade Louis II on Saturday to salvage a point for AS Monaco in a 2-2 draw with Caen.

An own goal from Emmanuel Imorou had gifted the hosts the lead after only five minutes, a lead that Monaco rode into the second half.

Caen responded with two goals in the span of nine minutes as Bengali-Fode Koita leveled the score in the 50th minute before an own goal from Geoffrey Kondogbia handed the visitors the edge.

But Monaco managed to take something from the match as Moutinho struck in the 75th minute to ensure a point and bring the free-spending club to 20 points on the season.

Lorient climbed out of the Ligue 1 cellar on Saturday by claiming a 1-0 home victory over Lens.

The hosts gained an early advantage when Loiik Landre was sent off with a straight red card in the 16th minute, and Raphael Guerreiro capitalized on the extra man by breaking the deadlock five minutes later.

Lorient improves to 13 points to move to 17th place in the table, dropping Lens to last place.

Rounding out Saturday's Ligue 1 action, Paul-Georges Ntep De Madiba provided the lone goal in Rennes' 1-0 defeat of Guingamp, Lyon was held scoreless in a 0-0 draw at Bastia and Nice claimed a point from a 0-0 draw with Reims.
