Tampa, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Missouri Comets forward Stefan St. Louis has been named the Major Indoor Soccer League's Player of the Week for the third week of the 2013-14 season.
St. Louis scored a game-winner in overtime for the Comets as they earned a 12-10 victory over the St. Louis Ambush on Friday.
The 26-year-old underwent knee surgery which brought his 2012-13 season to a premature end, but he rebounded in superb fashion as his first goal back for the Comets granted the club a second consecutive victory.
Following are the 2012-13 MISL Player of the Week winners:
Week 1: Ian Bennett, Milwaukee Wave.
Week 2: Nick Vorberg, Milwaukee Wave.
Week 3: Stefan St. Louis, Missouri Comets.
