AC Milan acquired teenage striker M'Baye Niang from French second-tier side Caen on Tuesday for an undisclosed fee and signed him to a three-year contract.

Niang, 17, made his Ligue 1 debut with Caen late in the 2010-11 season when he was just 16. In 30 top-flight matches for Caen, he scored five goals. Caen was relegated from Ligue 1 after last season.

He has played for France at the Under-16, U-17 and U-21 levels.
