Indianapolis, IN – Trey Burke posted a career-high 30 points point deficit late in regulation to post 69 overtime victory over Minnesota in a Big Ten quarterfinal.
Tim Hardaway, Jr. totaled 20 points for the Wolverines (24-8), who will face the winner of an Ohio State-Purdue quarterfinal in a Saturday semifinal.
Andre Hollins scored 21 points and dished out six assists for the Gophers (19-14), who had bested Northwestern in their tourney opener on Thursday.
Rodney Williams picked up 20 points and Austin Hollins added 11 in defeat.
