CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Hornets coach Steve Clifford says forward Michael Kidd Gilchrist will be back in the starting lineup Friday night when Charlotte faces the Atlanta Hawks.
Kidd-Gilchrist missed the last two games with a rib injury.
The No. 2 overall pick in the 2013 draft was off to a solid start, averaging 11.3 points and 7.7 rebounds in his first three games for the Hornets (2-3).
