Seventh-ranked middleweight Michael Bisping earned possibly the biggest win of his career Saturday when he defeated former champion Anderson Silva at UFC Fight Night from London.

Bisping started fast, dropping Silva early in the fight and putting the hometown crowd on it's feet. Silva responded in the third with a flying knee that sent Bisping crumbling to the canvas in what appeared to be a knockout blow, but referee Herb Dean ruled that the fight was not over.

The Brit was able to regain his composure and hold off the Brazilian over the next two rounds for his 29th career win.

In the co-main event, Gegard Mousasi earned a decision over Thales Leites, whole Tom Breese, Brad Pickett and Makwan Amirkhani posted wins of their own in front of the raucous crowd.
