Memphis, TN – Austria's Jurgen Melzer captured the $1.155 million Regions Morgan Keegan Championship on Sunday after knocking off his third straight seeded opponent.
Melzer battled back in the second set for a 7-5, 7-6 (7-4) win over No. 4 seed Milos Raonic of Canada, earning his fourth career title.
The 30-year-old Melzer withstood 22 aces from Raonic, 21, and saved four of the five break points he faced in the first-ever meeting between the players.
