Jim Harbaugh brought his satellite camp tour of the United States to Hawaii, where he just might have found his quarterback of the distant future. According to the Detroit Free Press, Michigan has offered a scholarship to 8th grader Sol-Jay Maiava, a member of the class of 2020.

Maiava, who stands 6-foot-1 and weighs 180 pounds, will play football at Kahuku High School, which completed an undefeated season and won the state title last year.

"According to Maiava's father Luaao Peters, Harbaugh was very straight forward with the offer to his son.

'I want to offer you a scholarship Sol-Jay, what do you think about that? I'm ready to offer you,' is what Harbaugh said.

Peters was overcome with emotion.

'I just smiled put my head down and hugged him and said thank you coach.'"
