West Bromwich, England (SportsNetwork.com) - Tony Pulis has made his first signing as West Bromwich manager after luring winger Callum McManaman to The Hawthorns from Wigan on a three-and-a-half-year contract for an undisclosed fee.

Under Pulis, the Baggies have moved three points above the relegation places in the league, and the boss will hope the addition of McManaman can add punch to a side that has managed only 20 goals in 22 league fixtures this term.

The 23-year-old McManaman appeared in 109 games for Wigan and helped the side win the 2013 FA Cup with an upset over Manchester City in the final.

"When the chance came to move to West Bromwich Albion, and return to the Premier League, I couldn't turn it down," said McManaman. "This is a great move for me and I hope the Albion fans will get to see the best of me. Albion are a great club, with a good tradition. I can't wait to get going."

McManaman could make his West Brom debut on Saturday when his new side hosts Tottenham.
