Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield threw for 316 yards and ran for another 69 while Tulsa quarterback Dane Evans threw for 274.
Zack Langer of Tulsa had 114 yards rushing and Keyarris Garrett caught 11 passes for 156 yards - all in the first half. That, plus an astonishing lack of defense, led to a combined 863 yards of offense in the first half, the most since Fresno State and San Jose State totaled 1,002 in November of 2013.
Oklahoma led Tulsa 31-24 at halftime and there could have been even more scoring and yards. The Sooners turned it over twice in the redzone.
