The Dallas Mavericks have suspended guard Delonte West indefinitely.

"We have suspended Delonte for conduct detrimental to the team," Mavericks president of basketball operations Donnie Nelson said. "The suspension is effective immediately and no other statements will be issued."

West was also suspended earlier this month by the team following a reported locker room outburst on Oct. 15, but was reinstated soon after.

The eight-year veteran averaged 9.6 points and 3.2 assists per game in 2011-2012, his first season with the Mavericks, and re-signed with the team this past offseason. He appeared in all seven games for the Mavericks in the preseason.
