Indiana coach Tom Crean is watching his team play short-handed this spring.

Since losing to Syracuse in the NCAA tournament regional semifinals three months ago, the mass exodus has included the graduation of three seniors, two underclassmen leaving early for the NBA and two others who transferred. Two more players still recovering from injuries and one is on vacation with his family and could be playing internationally this summer.

That has put Indiana in a quandary this June. Highly touted freshman Noah Vonleh and his teammates have been relegated to going 2-on-2 in drills because there simply aren't enough players to go 5-on-5.
