Marseille, France – Marseille signed midfielder Andre Ayew to 15 season on Sunday.
Ayew, 22, has six goals in 16 matches this season, following a breakout season last year. Ayew had 11 goals in 37 matches last season for the French side.
The son of former Marseille star Abedi Pele, Ayew and his brother, Jordan, are both current Marseille players.
"OM will depend on him in the years to come," Marseille coach Didier Deschamps said, according to UEFA's website. ""It's a very good thing that he's extended (his contract)."
Andre Ayew has played 32 matches for Ghana.
