Mariners sign Wolf to minor league deal
Peoria, AZ (SportsNetwork.com) - The Seattle Mariners have signed veteran left-handed pitcher Randy Wolf to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training.
Wolf, 37, last pitched in the majors in 2012 with Milwaukee and Baltimore, combining to make 30 appearances (26 starts).
The southpaw did not pitch last season due to Tommy John surgery on his left elbow performed on Oct. 30, 2012. It was the second Tommy John surgery of his career.
In 376 career games (368 starts) with the Phillies (1999-2006), Dodgers (2007, 2009), Padres (2008), Astros (2008), Brewers (2010-12) and Orioles (2012), Wolf is 132-117 with a 4.20 ERA.
