Mares bests Agbeko again

Anaheim, CA – Abner Mares took down Joseph Agbeko with a unanimous decision on Saturday to maintain his IBF bantamweight belt.

Mares (23-0-1) won all three scorecards, 118-110, in a much more convincing display than his majority decision over Agbeko (28-4) in August.

Also at the Honda Center, WBA bantamweight champion Anselmo Moreno (32-1-1) defeated Vic Darchinyan (37-4-1) via unanimous decision by scores of 116-111, 117-110, 120-107.
