As Manny Pacquiao takes the ring against the undefeated Floyd Mayweather next month, the sound you will hear will be the fighter's own voice, belting out a song of his own creation.

The Filipino boxer recorded the song that will be played as he walks out to face the undefeated welterweight champion at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Not only that, Pacquiao released an official music video to go with it, and according to TMZ, it was directed by the boxer.

The video, which was released on Facebook on Sunday and has already been viewed 2.8 million times, is called “Lalaban Ako Para Sa Filipino,” roughly translating to “I’ll Fight for the Filipino People.”

(function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = "//connect.facebook.net/en_US/sdk.js#xfbml=1&version=v2.3"; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs);}(document, 'script', 'facebook-jssdk'));

The clip features Pacquiao in past bouts, training, in the recording studio and singing as fans crowd around him. It also shows footage of typhoon devastation in the Philippines.

It’s a touching tribute to his home country.

Pacquiao and Mayweather will take to the ring in their highly anticipated bout on May 2.
