ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) Peyton Manning will make his preseason debut Saturday night at Houston.

Broncos coach Gary Kubiak said Tuesday that Manning ''will play quite a bit. Is that a quarter and a-half? Is that a half? Is that a quarter? I don't know. I'll see how the game goes, but I want them to get a bunch of snaps under their belt.''

Denver has four new offensive linemen, including three who have never started an NFL regular-season game.

Manning has taken a few days off this training camp to keep his legs fresh and give backup Brock Osweiler work with the starters.

Osweiler had the best performance of his prolonged NFL apprenticeship last week in Denver's 22-20 win at Seattle.
