Milan, Italy – Inter Milan defender Maicon will miss Wednesday's Champions League contest with Lille because of a thigh strain.
The Brazilian sustained the injury in Inter's 2-1 defeat to Juventus on Saturday, although he played the full 90 minutes and scored the lone goal for the Nerazzurri.
However, tests on the thigh following the match confirmed a strain that will keep the 30-year-old out of Wednesday's game.
Inter leads Group B with six points from three games, two points clear of both CSKA Moscow and Trabzonspor.
