The Minnesota Lynx signed guard Erin Thorn on Monday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Thorn spent the last three seasons with the Chicago Sky. She appeared in 34 games in 2011, making seven starts and averaging 5.4 points and 2.4 assists while shooting 39.5 percent from three-point range.

"We're happy to add someone of Erin's experience," said Lynx head coach Cheryl Reeve. "Erin has been around the league for a long time and carries a strong reputation for being a heady player with leadership qualities."

The Brigham Young product played the first six years of her career with the New York Liberty and owns averages of 5.1 points, 1.5 assists and 1.4 rebounds in 251 career games.
