Lovie Smith calls Jameis Winston 'outstanding' in preseason victory

Let the hype surrounding quarterback Jameis Winston continue to grow. After a strong showing in a 25-11 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals, Winston was the hot-topic, without question.

The rookie QB of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers completed 8-of-13 passes for 90 yards and rushed for a touchdown to put the icing on the cake.

After the strong showing, many threw praise in Winston's direction, but as Pat Yasinskas of ESPN explained, head coach Lovie Smith's one-liner probably summed it up the best.

"I thought Jameis Winston was outstanding with his play,'' coach Lovie Smith told ESPN.

Excitement is coming from every direction if you're a fan of the Tampa Bay Bucs. The Jameis Winston hype train has two more weeks to grow before the 2015 NFL regular season officially gets underway.
