LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) Louisville sophomore center/forward Chinanu Onuaku will have a medical procedure to correct a heart rhythm issue detected during physicals conducted at last week's NBA combine in Chicago.

The 6-foot-10 Onuaku says in a release that NBA doctors noticed a condition called Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome. He describes the procedure in Chicago as ''minor'' and will be sidelined for seven to 10 days but adds that afterward, ''I will be ready to start workouts again in pursuit of my NBA dreams.''

Onuaku has not hired an agent and must decide by May 25 if he will return to the Cardinals. He averaged 9.9 points and a team-high 8.5 rebounds per game last season with 62 blocks.
