Sao Paulo, Brazil (SportsNetwork.com) - Top-seeded Tommy Haas retired from his semifinal match Saturday at the Brasil Open.

Paolo Lorenzi of Italy was leading Haas 6-3, 3-2 when the German called it quits due to a shoulder injury.

Lorenzi will play in his first ATP final against Federico Delbonis of Argentina, who took down Thomaz Bellucci of Brazil by a 6-4, 6-7 (5-7), 6-4 margin.

Delbonis will appear in a title match for the second time of his career. He lost in Hamburg last year.

Lorenzi and Delbonis have never faced each other before on the ATP World Tour.
