Lima nets hat trick as Braga rolls over Gil Vicente

Braga recorded its eighth straight win on 0 win at Gil Vicente.

Lima netted his first goal midway through the first half and added a second shortly after the break before Gil Vicente was reduced to 10 men with Claudio being sent off.

The Braga frontman then tallied his 14th goal of the season to complete his hat trick in the 68th minute, keeping Braga within three points of second- place FC Porto, which topped Setubal 3-1 on Sunday.

The defending champions took a 2-0 lead in the opening 26 minutes with goals from Marc Janko and Fernando before the two sides traded second-half tallies.

Friday's match saw Danilo Dias score a pair of goals in the first 20 minutes to help Maritimo to a 3-1 win over Rio Ave, moving the club into the top four.

Nacional claimed a 4-1 victory over Academica with two goals from Ladji Keita, Andre Pinto scored deep into stoppage time to help Olhanense snatch a 1-1 draw at Feirense, Beira Mar and Uniao Leiria played to a 0-0 draw and Sporting Lisbon benefited from a Ricardo Da Silva own goal to beat Pacos Ferreira 1-0.
