Eden Hazard and Nolan Roux scored against 10- man PSG as Lille secured a 2-1 win Sunday to close within two points of second place in Ligue 1.

Javier Pastore put PSG ahead after 48 minutes, but Mamadou Sakho was sent off in the 70th and Hazard converted from the penalty spot after the foul and Roux followed with the match-winner in the 79th.

Lille has won three straight and four of its last five games and sits just two behind PSG for second with four matches left in the season. Lille, which won Ligue 1 last season, also remained within seven points of leader Montpellier.

In addition to having Lille on its heels, PSG lost three points to Montpellier in the title race, and now faces a struggle just to maintain second and direct qualification to the Champions League group stage next season.

The top two teams qualify for the Champions League group stage, while third is forced to start in the qualification rounds.

Auxerre 4, Brest 0

Auxerre, France - Edouard Cisse, Olivier Kapo, Alain Traore and Roy Contout scored in the first half as Auxerre beat Brest, 4-0, on Sunday at the Stade de l'Abbe-Deschamps to take a step toward survival in Ligue 1.

Still bottom of the table on 31 points, Auxerre won for the second time in its last five to move within three points of safety with four games remaining this season.

Brest lost its third straight and for the fourth time in its last five, and is now 18th and one point from safety entering the final month of the season.

Nancy 1, Caen 1

Nancy, France - Benjamin Moukandjo scored in the 81st minute as Nancy extended its unbeaten streak to nine games with a 1-1 tie against Caen on Sunday at the Stade Marcel Picot in Ligue 1.

Nancy climbed to 10th in the standings and nine points clear of the relegation zone with four matches remaining in the season.

M'baye Niang scored for Caen, which used the point to move two points clear of the bottom three entering the final month of the season.

Rennes 3, Ajaccio 1

Rennes, France - Julien Feret, Abdoulrazak Boukari and Yacine Brahimi scored as Rennes defeated 10-man Ajaccio, 3-1, on Sunday at the Stade de la Route de Lorient to move into fourth place in Ligue 1.

Samuel Bouhours was sent off in the 11th minute, and Feret handed Rennes the lead in the 26th and the clubs piled on three goals in the 85th or later, but Rennes never trailed.

Ilan Araujo Dall'lgna scored for Ajaccio, which is winless in seven games and just one point above the drop in 17th place.

Bordeaux 3, Sochaux 0

Sochaux, France - Jussie, Nicolas Maurice-Belay and Henri Saivet all scored as Bordeaux down Sochaux, 3-0, on Sunday at the Stade Auguste Bonal in Ligue 1.

Bordeaux won its second straight and stayed in contention for a Europa League berth, while Sochaux, which had two players sent off after halftime, lost its second straight and is 19th on 33 points, but one point from safety.

St Etienne 1, Dijon 0

Saint Etienne, France - Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored in the first half and St. Etienne edged Dijon, 1-0, on Sunday at the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard to move within one point of a fourth place in Ligue 1.

St. Etienne has won three straight during a four-game unbeaten streak and sits level on 56 points with fifth-place Lyon and one behind fourth-place Rennes. Dijon lost its fourth straight and is one point from danger in 16th place.

Valenciennes 2, Nice 0

Valenciennes, France - Foued Kadir scored the game-winner as Valenciennes beat Nice, 2-0, on Sunday at the Stade du Hainaut to move seven points clear of the relegation zone in Ligue 1.

Valenciennes had lost three of its previous four. Nice lost for the second time in its last three and is four points above the drop in 14th.
