Lightning, Miettinen agree to two-year deal

Tampa, FL – The Tampa Bay Lightning agreed to terms on a two- year contract with free agent forward Antti Miettinen on Monday.

The 31-year-old spent 20 games with Ak Bars Kazan of Russia's Kontinental Hockey League, posting two goals and eight points.

Miettinen totaled 16 goals and 35 points in 73 games a season ago with the Minnesota Wild.

Over 472 NHL games in eight seasons with Dallas and Minnesota, the native of Finland racked up 89 goals and 212 points.
