Jesse Sanders posted a triple-double and John Brown had a double-double as Liberty defeated Charleston Southern 68-54 on Thursday night.

Sanders had 10 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists, and Brown added 13 points and 12 rebounds. Evan Gordon had 15 points for the Flames (11-6, 5-0 Big South), who have won five in a row and four straight in the series at home.

Liberty led 32-22 at halftime and opened the second half on a 23-8 run to grab its biggest lead of the game at 55-30. Anderson capped the surge with a 3-pointer with 9:54 remaining.

Jonathan Brooks came off the bench to get 12 points and 14 rebounds for the Buccaneers (8-8, 2-2). Jeremy Sexton led Charleston Southern with 17 points. The Buccaneers entered the game averaging 73.1 points per game but were held to their lowest point total since scoring 39 in a season-opening loss to Georgia Tech.
