Leverkusen, Germany – Bayer Leverkusen signed Real Madrid defender Daniel Carvajal to a five-year contract on Wednesday.
Carvajal joins Leverkusen for an undisclosed fee after struggling to find first-team chances with the Spanish giants.
The 20-year-old Carvajal is a natural right back who found himself behind both Sergio Ramos and Alvaro Arbeloa at Madrid, forcing a move away from the club that he joined as a youth in 2002.
