Moments after the most memorable moment in Cleveland professional sports history, a new mural depicting LeBron James' famous chalk throw was debuted in the heart of downtown Cleveland with an illuminated "Champions" now inscribed above it.

The banner is more than just an awesome illustration of the city's hero, it is a symbol of greatness and the hard-earned achievement that has permanently removed Cleveland as the nation's sports punching bag. And now it's coming down.

Via a report from ABC 5 in Cleveland:

On Monday, Sherwin Williams stated that (the mural) will be coming down.

The RNC has slated a red, white and blue proclamation declaring --€” this land is our land -- for the spot on the Sherwin Williams headquarters where LeBron now stands, arms up, over the city.

And after a day of debate whether the RNC would follow through on replacing the mural with one of their own, they made it official:

But at later in the day, Sherwin Williams confirmed that LeBron is coming down for the RNC. But it said the banner is going to stay up for the time being so that fans could see it with the words "Champions" added.
