Glenn Powell scored on a layup with one second left as Jacksonville defeated Campbell 67-65 on Monday night.

Tied with 8.5 seconds left, Jacksonville's Russell Powell drove the length of the floor and found Glenn Powell open. Russell Powell led Jacksonville (9-3, 3-0 Atlantic Sun) with 14 points.

Ayron Hardy added 11 points and seven rebounds, moving to within 14 points of becoming the 28th player in Dolphins history to score 1,000 career points.

The Camels (7-5, 1-2), normally one of the best 3-point shooting teams in the conference, made just 2 of 11 shots from long range. Lorne Merthie led Campbell with 14 points. Amir Celestin, who tied the score at 65 on a pair of free throws before Glenn Powell's layup, added 13 points.

The Dolphins compensated for 20 turnovers by outrebounding Campbell 36-25, earning 13 second-chance points.
