El Segundo, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Los Angeles Lakers signed guard Kendall Marshall to a multi-year contract on Friday. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not released.

Marshall was selected by the Phoenix Suns with the 13th overall pick in the 2012 draft. In 48 games with the Suns last season, Marshall averaged 3.0 points and 3.0 assists.

The 22-year-old was traded to the Washington Wizards prior to the 2013 season, but was waived soon thereafter. He most recently had been playing for the Delaware 87ers of the NBA Development League, averaging 19.4 points and 9.6 assists in seven games.
