David Kyles scored 13 points and Wichita State broke open a tight game in the second half to beat Bradley 79-63 Saturday night.

Gabe Blair added 11 points and nine rebounds for the Shockers (11-2, 2-0 Missouri Valley), who won their sixth straight game. J.T. Durley scored 11 points and Ben Smith 10.

Andrew Warren's 26 points led the Braves (6-7, 0-2), and he went 9 for 9 at the free throw line to extend his streak to 41. Dyricus Simms-Edwards added 15 points.

Wichita State led 33-32 after a first half in which neither team led by more than four.

But the Shockers built their edge in the second half, reaching double digits when Smith's 3-pointer made it 53-42 with 11:03 left. Smith's basket was part of a 14-2 run that sealed the win.

Wichita State is 2-0 in the Missouri Valley for the first time since 2005-06.
