New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - The New York Knicks signed guard Chris Douglas-Roberts on Wednesday and waived forward Justin Brownlee.

Roberts holds career averages of 7.5 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.2 assists over 161 games (53 starts) with the Nets, Bucks and Mavericks since being selected in the second round of the 2008 NBA Draft.

He averaged just 2.8 points in six games for Dallas last season, but put up solid numbers in 16 games with the Texas Legends of the NBA D-League, averaging 17.9 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.44 steals per contest.
