MADISON, Wis. – Kalisha Keane scored 28 points to lead No. 11 Michigan State to a 73-70 overtime win over Wisconsin on Thursday night.
Keane hit four 3-pointers to help give Spartans coach Suzy Merchant her first road victory over the Badgers in four trips to the Kohl Center.
Keane drained an off-balance 3-pointer from the right wing to tie it at 60 with 13 seconds to go and added seven points in the extra period.
Michigan State (19-3, 7-2 Big Ten) pulled within ½-game of first place Penn State in the conference, while Wisconsin (12-10, 7-3) dropped one game back of the Nittany Lions.
Lin Zastrow scored 23 points for Wisconsin and Alyssa Karel added 21.
