Pittsburgh, PA – Kansas State played Saturday's NCAA Tournament game against Syracuse without forward Jamar Samuels because of an eligibility issue.
Samuels is Kansas State's second-leading scorer and top rebounder, averaging 10.0 points and 6.6 rebounds in 30 games.
The senior had just one point and eight rebounds in Kansas State's 70-64 win over Southern Mississippi in the second round on Thursday.
