Florence, Italy – Fiorentina confirmed on Monday that forward Stevan Jovetic will miss the next two weeks because of a thigh injury.
The 23-year-old sustained the injury in Saturday's 2-1 defeat at Cagliari, and he will likely miss upcoming games with AC Milan and Atalanta.
"Fiorentina announces that diagnostic tests undergone by the player Stevan Jovetic showed an injury of the first degree of the thigh muscle," read a club statement. "The prognosis is two weeks."
The Montenegro international has tallied 12 goals in 24 Serie A games this season for the Viola, which sits in fourth place with eight games to play.
