Florence, Italy – Fiorentina confirmed on Monday that Stevan Jovetic has signed a new contract that ties him to the club until 2016.
The Montenegro international, whose previous deal expired in 2013, joined the Viola from Partizan Belgrade in 2008, but after missing last season because of a knee injury, he has bounced back nicely to start this campaign.
The 21-year-old has tallied five goals and two assists in nine league games as Fiorentina sits in 10th place.
