Terrence Jones scored 22 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead No. 2 Kentucky to a 97-53 exhibition victory over Division III Transylvania on Wednesday night.

The Wildcats' three highly touted freshmen all made big contributions for a team expected to make a run deep in the NCAA tournament.

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist scored 19 points, Anthony Davis blocked eight shots and Marquis Teague finished with nine assists as Kentucky pulled away after a competitive opening 10 minutes.

Brandon Rash's 3-pointer gave the Pioneers an early 11-4 lead, but Kentucky used a pair of 13-0 runs to erase the deficit and build a 37-23 halftime lead that grew to 45 late in the second half.

The two schools hadn't played each other since 1911, splitting their 14 previous meetings.
