Top lightweight prospects Jake Matthews and Johnny Case will face off at the upcoming UFC Fight Night card in Brisbane, Australia, on March 19, sources close to the fight confirmed to FOX Sports on Tuesday.

Matthews and Case have verbally agreed to the bout, according to sources, but UFC officials have yet to announce the contest.

Case will look to move to 5-0 in the UFC as he travels to another opponent's backyard with his last fight taking place Down Under.

Case has stated in the past that he loves traveling to new places and has no problem stepping into enemy territory. He'll get the chance to feed off of that energy again when he fights in March.

Matthews moved to 9-1 overall after beating Akbarh Arreola last November at UFC 193.

The former "Ultimate Fighter" competitor has stayed at home for all of his UFC performances thus far and he'll do the same for the upcoming bout with Case in Australia.

The fight between Case and Matthews joins a growing card headlined by heavyweights Frank Mir and Mark Hunt in the five-round main event as well as Hector Lombard taking on Neil Magny in the co-main event.
