New York Jets head coach Todd Bowles opted to go with Geno Smith at quarterback over the struggling Ryan Fitzpatrick, and it looked like a good call late in the first quarter. Smith connected with Quincy Enunwa for a 69-yard touchdown pass, his first of the season.

Unfortunately, that's where the good news ended.

In the second quarter, Smith suffered a right knee injury and was taken to the locker room. Fitzpatrick was reinserted into the lineup, taking over with just over three minutes left in the first half.

Prior to the injury, Smith was 4-for-8 with 95 yards and a touchdown. He left the game with the Jets trailing 13-7 to the Baltimore Ravens.

On his first drive, Fitzpatrick led the Jets to a touchdown and a 14-13 lead, completing 4 of 4 passes for 46 yards and a touchdown.
