The UFC's pay-per-view event in Houston keeps getting better and better as a matchup between women's bantamweight contenders Jessica Eye and Julianna Pena has been added to the Oct. 3 card, according to ESPN's Brett Okamoto.

UFC officials confirmed the bout via their official Twitter account on Tuesday afternoon, setting the stage UFC 192 bout.

Eye is coming off a loss to Miesha Tate at UFC Fight Night Chicago but is set to return a little over two months later with the hopes of securing her second win inside the Octagon. The Ohio native boasts an 11-3 record, overall, and is unbeaten in five of her last seven bouts.

Pena, one of the brightest up-and-coming prospects in the division, burst on to the scene after running through the competition on the 18th season of "The Ultimate Fighter" before a horrific knee injury sidelined her for almost two years. In her return, Pena scored a first-round knockout over Milana Dudieva, in a fight where she outlanded her opponent 37-0 in significant strikes and earned Performance of the Night.

UFC 192 features a light heavyweight title fight between champion Daniel Cormier and second-ranked Alexander Gustafsson, as well an intriguing showdown between former champion Rashad Evans and Ryan Bader. Stay tuned for more information as this card continues to develop.
