Toronto, ON (SportsNetwork.com) - The Toronto Blue Jays designated outfielder Nolan Reimold for assignment on Tuesday.
Reimold hit just .212 with two homers and nine RBI in 22 games this season.
The Blue Jays recalled outfielder Kevin Pillar from Triple-A Buffalo to replace Reimold on the active roster.
In 26 games with the Blue Jays this season, Pillar is hitting .225 with two RBI. In 100 games with Buffalo, he was hitting .323 with 10 homers and 59 RBI.
